Sometimes the second time around is the winner. After a communications degree and several years working in Public Affairs, Kerri decided to follow her passion… right back into design school. Armed with her interior design degree, she honed her skills with large architectural and interior design firms before joining JJID in 2012.
Kerri has created dynamic and functional workplaces for corporations from 5,000 to 160,000 square feet, and has also helped clients realize their visions for hotel and restaurant projects. Her communications background and obsessive attention to detail help her ensure Space + Brand = Identity.
Having completed her own professional accreditations, Kerri now mentors other young designers through the Alberta Association of Architects and the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). She also sits as the design industry representative on the Calgary Transit Customer Advisory Group.
When she’s not kicking dust off her steel-toed boots or up to her elbows in samples, you’re most likely to find her curled up at home, reading a book to her kids.

Our work emerges at the intersection of art and science. Bozena’s talents and abilities in interior design bridge the gap between conceptual big ideas and the technical foundation to realize them. She also has a successful track record in project delivery due to her positivity and leadership.
With over a decade of work under her belt, Bozena has sketched, detailed and guided ideas into reality for hundreds of clients, from residential to commercial projects including offices, restaurants, spas and retail stores. She particularly excels on the job site, working with contractors, trades and other stakeholders to resolve the inevitable challenges that present themselves over the course of any project.
Outside of work, she keeps busy as her children’s cheerleader and chauffeur.

She began her design career after earning a Masters in Interior Design from The New England School of Art and Design in Boston, Ma. She has worked both in the US and Canada and although starting in healthcare has developed a true passion for the retail and hospitality sectors of design. She has gleaned a great deal of knowledge and skill in her five years in the industry and is excited to continue developing her skills and becoming licensed in Alberta.
In her spare time you may find her making art, wandering around with her canine familiar or enjoying live music in the city. She also frequents design events in Edmonton through MADE and Creative Mornings.
